We're proud to welcome the newest member of the Bold Retail team, Sarah Hyler. Sarah joins us with a long history in digital and shopper marketing and has managed major projects for top-tier clients like KraftHeinz, Mondelez, LEGO, and more.
In her new role, Sarah's going to lead both our campaign management and our analytics. If you're a current Bold client, you already know how much of an impact these services can make on your business. In addition to promotional campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Google's networks, Bold runs optimized campaigns on Amazon's DSP (Demand Side Platform) and can target your shoppers based on their previous purchases and their interactions with your brand.
We wanted to get to know Sarah beyond her professional skills so we asked her a few questions. Here's what she said...
What's your home town?
Why did you decide to join Bold Retail?
I was intrigued by Bold’s platform and opportunities within the Ecommerce business and am excited to be part of a company’s growth.
What's the first thing you ever bought on Amazon.com? What does that say about you?
The first purchase I made on Amazon was a duo purchase - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince book and the 2nd season of Battlestar Galactica box set. I guess you could say I’m a bit of a nerd. I love good stories and once I’m in it, I’m in it for life.
What's your favorite book?
This is a hard question for me. I have so many to narrow down to just one. So my top five right now are:
1) Brave New World
2) Lonesome Dove - it's a classic and it will surprise you!
3) Ready Player One
4) The Giver – I read this for the first time when I was 11 yrs old. It sparked something inside of me and changed me forever. It’s the reason I love to read
5) The Harry Potter series.
What's your favorite place?
I’m a home body at heart. Give me a book, cup of coffee, a comfy chair, and a fireplace and I’m in heaven.
"I'm happiest when I'm..."
Learning something new or digging into a new interest. It excites me.
"People would be surprised to know..."
That one of my favorite bands of all time is Motley Crue. You cannot convince me that Live Wire isn’t the greatest rock and roll song ever.
